Wide range of flow detection switches and float switches from leading UK manufacturer Cynergy3, well known for excellent quality and reliability. The FS15 series of normally open flow switches by Cynergy3 utilises a fixed reed switch with a low flow restriction and a moving magnet to enable accurate flow detection, while ensuring minimal fluid flow restriction. These inline switches are designed for operation in liquid flow systems with pressure of up to 10 bar (not suitable for systems containing significant amount of solid particles) and come in 15mm tube size with a low-flow version available. The FS15 series flow switches can be operated in temperatures of up to 85°C and are WRAS approved for use in cold and hot water up to 60°C.

The LITTLE-EX series of cable end float switches by Cynergy3 utilises a self-cleaning switching element to enable switching insensitive to humidity or condensation and hence use in widely fluctuating temperatures. These float switches are ATEX Ex II 1 G Ex ia IIC T6 certified and designed for use in hazardous areas. The switch is housed within a high density polyethylene floating body (please refer to the Chemical compatibility chart in Technical library) with centre of gravity carefully positioned near the cable entry. The LITTLE-EX series is supplied with 5m, 10m or 20m length of cable and can be operated in temperatures between -20°C and +40°C.

The MS series of cable end float switches by Cynergy3 utilises a microswitch element activated by a moving stainless steel ball with lifetime of 200,000 operations. The switch is hermetically sealed within a HDPE casing filled with non-hygroscopic closed-cell polyurethane, enabling it to work as much as 100m deep in water. The MS series features a selection of contact forms (n/o, n/c and c/o), direct switching power and protective earth conductor included as standard (except for c/o versions). The switching element is UL, VDE and CENELEC approved. The switches are supplied with 5m length of PVC or PUR (suitable for use in fuel oils) cable with and can be operated in temperatures between 0°C and +45°C.

The OLS2 series of low cost optical float switch liquid level sensors offers high reliability, single point liquid level detection utilising infra-red emitter and detector aligned accurately within a cone to give good optical coupling when the sensor is positioned in the air. In presence of liquid this coupling is disrupted triggering the sensor. Transistor output enables configuration for various applications. The OLS2 series is resistant to false triggering due to foaming, and is available as high or low output version and in standard (-25° to +80°C) or extended (-40°C to +125°C) temperature range.
